Welcome to Friends of Barkerville Web Site. Our mandate is to Protect, Preserve and Promote Barkerville and area. On July 9th 2010, our society will have been active for 25 years. During this time the FOB has done an unbelievable number of projects on behalf of Barkerville Historic Town and area. Check Past Projects for a list of those we can remember. We are now working on assisting renovations of the Canadian Claim on Williams Creek. Future projects are endless. Hikers, have a look at Trails for a new series of downloadable maps and route description of many of the historic trails in the area. We love to see you in Barkerville this summer.
